2008 MVVC Festival Work Assignments

The Michigan Festival operates as a volunteer organization; we have NO paid staff. We appreciate the efforts of our members, and the annual Festival is one of the key times that people can contribute in a meaningful way to the club. But no good deed goes un-rewarded...

For each member (or festival guest) who donates just one hour of their time at the festival, we will provide a free dinner Sunday afternoon after the festival ends. This is a great close to the weekend--held at the Side Track Restaurant's Other Side. We offer a menu of 5-7 items (great food at one of Depot Town's best restaurants) and free sodas and ice tea. We also will have a cash bar for those so inclined.

We have a number of opportunities for you to contribute on Saturday for the festival set-up and on Sunday for the actual festival. Please sign up early and often. Contact Ed Karmann the Festival chair for other opportunities to contribute!

Hint: Working two hours gets a free dinner for both you and your spouse/partner/friend.
