I am Rick Cramer and live in Southern Michigan. I have been into VW's since I was a kid. I have owned several Bugs and Busses throughout the years. I now own a 1974 Convertible Gia and (my dream vehicle) a 1967 Westy that I drove to California in 2007. |

I also am from southern Michigan and am married to the president. We have 2 children, Autumn and Bailey. Although I did not grow up as a VW enthusiast, I did marry one. Despite having to push start my husband's buses over the years (many, many, many times), I have grown to love the vehicles, the people, and even tolerate the many models, trinkets and memorabilia that has taken over the house! I have learned a lot about the vehicles over the years. Like.... to park on a hill so it is easier to push! I now know what sounds are "just the wind" and what sounds mean you are about to break down! I have had a lot of fun being part of this club for the last 10+ years. I have met a lot of great people as well. I look forward to many more years!! |

I have been interested in VW's since childhood but have never actually had one. A couple of years ago I had someone loan me a VW Squareback to use until I was able to get another vehicle of my own, and that re-kindled my interests in them. My dream VW is a bus, either window van or camper. |

My interested in Volkswagens began in the early 1960s when I purchased a 1961 sunroof. Since that time I 've been hooked on the little German car. I have been involved in MVVC since 1988 when our son David and I went to our first show. The cars that I currently own are: a 1968 Karmann Ghia Convertible, a 1975 Super Beetle Convertible (manufactured on my birthday), and a 1980 Rabbit pick-up truck that is totally original with 20,000 miles. One of My favorite activities is to travel around with my wife, Bonnie, in our Volkswagens. |
